Groundfish stock assessment and fishery evaluation documents

  • Stock assessment documents (stock assessments, Stock Assessment Review Panel (STAR) reports, rebuilding analyses, and terms of reference)
  • SAFE (stock assessment/fishery evaluation) documents. SAFE documents summarize the most recent biological condition of a species, and the social and economic condition of the recreational and commercial fishing industries, including the fish processing sector. They summarize the best available data on the past, present, and possible future condition of the managed stocks and fisheries.
  • 2025 Groundfish Stock Assessment Review Cycle – Schedule: Schedule of key species, meeting dates, locations, and deadlines for groundfish stock assessment work being conducted and reviewed in the 2025 cycle. The reference table is updated as additional information becomes available throughout the process.
