The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) will convene a Stock Assessment Review (STAR) Panel meeting to review the Yellowtail rockfish stock assessment. The STAR panel meeting (STAR Panel 1) to review a new assessment for yellowtail rockfish in the area North of 40º 10’ N. latitude will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. (Pacific Time), and will continue from May 20 through May 23, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day, or until business for each day has been completed stock assessment.

The Pacific Fishery Management Council’s (Pacific Council) Highly Migratory Species Subpanel (HMSAS) is holding an online meeting. The meeting will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time. This meeting is being conducted remotely with a web broadcast that provides the opportunity for remote public comment. The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) will convene a public hearing regarding the trawl catch share program review. The hearing will be held in Astoria, Oregon, on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 5:30p.m.-8:30 p.m. Pacific Time. Hearing times are an estimate, hearings will end when business for the day has been completed. This meeting is being conducted in person. Meeting location and specifics will be posted on the Pacific Council’s website (www.pcouncil.org) when available.
