The Pacific Fishery Management Council’s (Pacific Council) Ad Hoc Ecosystem Workgroup (EWG) is holding an online meeting, which is open to the public. The online meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pacific Time or until business is completed. This meeting is being conducted remotely with a web broadcast that provides the opportunity for remote public comment. This meeting will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time or until business for the day has been completed. This meeting is being conducted remotely with a web broadcast that provides the opportunity for remote public comment. The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) and the NMFS Northwest and Southwest Fisheries Science Centers will convene a virtual pre-assessment workshop to review proposed data and modeling approaches to inform groundfish stock assessments for chilipepper rockfish and California quillback rockfish scheduled for assessment during 2025.  The workshop is open to the public. The pre-assessment workshop will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Pacific Time or until business for the day has been completed.  

The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) is hosting an informational session on Council practices and procedures for all Advisory Body members. This online meeting is open to the public. The meeting will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pacific Time or until business for the day has been completed. 

The Pacific Fishery Management Council’s (Pacific Council) Groundfish Subcommittee of the Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC GFSC) and the NMFS Northwest Fisheries Science Center will convene an online pre-assessment workshop to review proposed data and modeling approaches to inform a groundfish stock assessment for yellowtail rockfish in the area north of 40º 10’ N. latitude, scheduled for assessment during 2025.  The workshop is open to the public. The pre-assessment workshop will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Pacific Time or until business for the day has been completed.  

The Pacific Fishery Management Council’s (Pacific Council) Highly Migratory Species Management Team (HMSMT) is holding an online meeting. The online meeting will be held on portions of three consecutive days: Monday, January 13, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.; and Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.  All times are Pacific Time. . This meeting is being conducted remotely with a web broadcast that provides the opportunity for remote public comment.
