The Pacific Fishery Management Council’s (Pacific Council) Habitat Committee (HC) will hold an online meeting that is open to the public. This HC meeting will be held Monday, June 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time, or until business is completed. This meeting is being conducted remotely with a web broadcast that provides the opportunity for remote public comment. The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) will hold an online meeting of its Ad Hoc Highly Migratory Species (HMS) Fisheries Innovation Workgroup (FIW) to discuss procedures to facilitate the development of new HMS gears and achieve the goals of the HMS Roadmap. This meeting is open to the public. The online meeting will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time, or until business for the day has been completed. This meeting is being conducted remotely with a web broadcast that provides the opportunity for remote public comment. The online meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time or until business is completed. This meeting is being conducted remotely with a web broadcast that provides the opportunity for remote public comment. In the event an outage occurs or technical issues arise that impact the experience of remote attendees, we will attempt to resolve them but ultimately we cannot guarantee that they will be resolved satisfactorily.

The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) will convene a joint webinar meeting of its Groundfish Management Team (GMT) and Groundfish Advisory Subpanel that is open to the public. This meeting will discuss items on the Pacific Council’s June 2025 meeting agenda and will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific Time. The meeting will adjourn when business for the day is completed. This meeting is being conducted remotely with a web broadcast that provides the opportunity for remote public comment. The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) will convene a Stock Assessment Review (STAR) Panel meeting to review the rougheye/blackspotted rockfish and sablefish stock assessments. The STAR panel meeting (STAR Panel 3) to review new assessments for rougheye/blackspotted rockfish and sablefish will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 and will continue through Friday, July 18, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. (Pacific Time) or until business for the day has been completed.   

The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) will convene a Stock Assessment Review (STAR) Panel meeting to review the chilipepper rockfish and quillback rockfish stock assessments. The STAR panel meeting (STAR Panel 2) to review new assessments for chilipepper rockfish and quillback rockfish off California will be held Monday, June 23, 2025 and will continue through Friday, June 27, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. (Pacific Time) each day, or until business for the day has been completed. 

The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) will convene a Stock Assessment Review (STAR) Panel meeting to review the Yellowtail rockfish stock assessment. The STAR panel meeting (STAR Panel 1) to review a new assessment for yellowtail rockfish in the area North of 40º 10’ N. latitude will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. (Pacific Time), and will continue from May 20 through May 23, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day, or until business for each day has been completed stock assessment.
