Groundfish Management Team and Groundfish Advisory Subpanel to meet online October 28, 2024

The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Pacific Council) will convene a joint webinar meeting its Groundfish Management Team (GMT) and Groundfish Advisory Subpanel (GAP) that is open to the public. This meeting will discuss items on the Pacific Council’s November 2024 meeting agenda and will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific Time. The meeting will adjourn when business for the day is completed. This meeting is being conducted remotely with a web broadcast that provides the opportunity for remote public comment. In the event an outage occurs or technical issues arise that impact the experience of remote attendees, we will attempt to resolve them but ultimately we cannot guarantee that they will be resolved satisfactorily.

Groundfish Subcommittee of the Scientific and Statistical Committee to hold online meeting October 1-2, 2024

The Pacific Fishery Management Council’s (Pacific Council) Groundfish Subcommittee of the Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) will will convene an online meeting to review the suitability of fish age estimates developed using Fourier Transformed Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-NIRS) for inclusion in groundfish stock assessments. This meeting is open to the public and will be held Tuesday, October 1, and Wednesday, October 2, daily from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pacific Time or until business for the day has been completed. This meeting is being conducted remotely with a web broadcast that provides the opportunity for remote public comment. In the event an outage occurs or technical issues arise that impact the experience of remote attendees, we will attempt to resolve them but ultimately we cannot guarantee that they will be resolved satisfactorily.

Salmon Technical Team and Scientific and Statistical Committee’s Salmon Subcommittee to hold joint online meeting October 4, 2024

The Pacific Fishery Management Council’s (Pacific Council) Salmon Technical Team (STT) and Scientific and Statistical Committee’s Salmon Subcommittee (SSC-SC) will hold a joint online meeting and is open to the public. The Model Evaluation Workgroup and the Sacramento River Fall Chinook Workgroup may also contribute and participate in this meeting. The online meeting will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time, or until business for the day has been completed.
