The Coastal Pelagic Species (CPS) Subcommittee of the Pacific Fishery Management Council’s (Pacific Council’s) Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) will hold a meeting to review proposed revisions to the Terms of Reference for the CPS Stock Assessment Review Process for 2023 and 2024.  The meeting is open to the public.  The SSC CPS Subcommittee’s online meeting will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing until 12 p.m. Pacific Time or until business for the day has been completed.

Purpose of the meeting

The purpose of the SSC CPS Subcommittee’s meeting is to review proposed changes to the Terms of Reference for CPS Stock Assessment Reviews that will inform the process of conducting and reviewing CPS assessments in 2023 and 2024.  Members of the Pacific Council’s CPS advisory bodies are encouraged to attend.  The Pacific Council is scheduled to adopt a public review draft Terms of Reference at their June meeting in Vancouver, Washington.
