The Pacific Fishery Management Council’s (Pacific Council) Coastal Pelagic Species (CPS) Subcommittee of the Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) will hold an online meeting. This meeting is open to the public. The online meeting will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Pacific Standard Time (PST) or until business for the day has been completed.

Purpose of the meeting

The Subcommittee will review the draft update stock assessment for Pacific sardine in preparation for full SSC and Council review at the April 2022 Pacific Council meeting.  At its April 2022 meeting, the Pacific Council is scheduled to use the update stock assessment to set harvest specifications and management measures for the 2022 – 2023 Pacific sardine fishery.
