Amendment 11 to the Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery Management Plan
October 1998
This amendment incorporated provisions of the Sustainable Fisheries Act (the Magnuson-Stevens Act) into the fishery management plan. It defined essential fish habitat for West Coast groundfish, defined optimum yield, and defined overfishing rates and thresholds.
