Groundfish Allocation Committee to Meet
Meeting Dates: October 8-9, 2008
The Pacific Fishery Management Council's (Council) Groundfish Allocation Committee (GAC) will hold a working meeting, which is open to the public. The GAC meeting is scheduled for Wednesday-Thursday, October 8-9, 2008, starting at 8 a.m. each day and continuing until business for each day is completed.
Purpose of the Meeting
The purpose of the meeting is to develop recommendations to the Council on a preferred trawl rationalization alternative, on which the Council is scheduled to take final action at the November 2008 Council meeting.
