Ad Hoc Groundfish Trawl Individual Quota Committee to Meet

Meeting Dates: February 20-22, 2007

The Pacific Fishery Management Council's (Council) Ad Hoc Groundfish Trawl Individual Quota Committee (TIQC) will hold a work session, which is open to the public. The TIQC meeting will begin Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. and end Thursday, February 22. The meeting will recess each day upon completion of business for the day but no later than 4:00 pm on the final day of the meeting. On February 21 and 22, the meeting will reconvene from overnight recess at 8:30 a.m.

The purpose of the TIQC working meeting is to review and further develop alternatives under analysis, with particular emphasis on the Groundfish Allocation Committee (GAC) report from the GAC's December meeting and Groundfish Management Team (GMT) comments from the GMT's January 2007 meeting.
