This Public Review DRAFT Fishery Ecosystem Plan (FEP) and the Public Review Draft FEP Ecosystem Initiatives Appendix (dated February 2013) are together provided for public review, in compliance with the Council direction from November 2012. The Council is scheduled to consider adopting a final FEP at its April 6-11, 2013 meeting in Portland, Oregon.

The purpose of the FEP is to enhance the Council’s species-specific management programs with more ecosystem science, broader ecosystem considerations and management policies that coordinate Council management across its Fishery Management Plans and the California Current Ecosystem.
