Coastal Pelagic Species Advisory Subpanel and Coastal Pelagic Species Management Team to Hold Conference Call

The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) will convene a conference call of its Coastal Pelagic Species Advisory Subpanel (CPSAS) and Coastal Pelagic Species Management Team (CPSMT).  The primary purpose of the conference call is to discuss the proposed harvest parameters workshop, forage fish issues (on the Council’s agenda for its June meeting), and potential changes to streamline the CPS exempted fishing permit protocol.  Other items that may be discussed include the Stock Assessment and Fishery Evaluation document, the upcoming Canadian trawl survey review meeting, and Pacific mackerel management for 2012-2013.

The conference call will be held on Monday June 11, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time.
